Happy Birthday Cora!

We had a garden party to celebrate Cora turning 1!

She is scooting around on her bum all over the place, trying to pull up and sometimes getting to her knees. She LOVES to dance to music and eat fruit. She talks a lot and "dadada" and "mamama" are her only two "words" right now. Reading books is one of her new favorite things to do. She is just moving around a ton since she has finally learned how to move :) It does make naps and bedtime more challenging as she is more interested in sitting and pulling up than sleep. It makes for a cranky girl sometimes. 

Cora, we love you. You keep us on our toes sweet baby girl.

First Birthday cupcake

Most of it ended up on the ground instead of in her mouth. She's also loving throwing food on the ground these days. 

Little miss decided to skip her nap on party day. 

However, it's her party and she can cry if she wants to.

Summer Fun!

Summer is here and we are packing in the fun!

Chi Omega at OSU turned 100 years old and it made for a perfect excuse for a big gathering of all the sisters. It was SO much fun!

We were outside just playing and enjoying nice weather and I snapped a few pics while we played. 

 Jack really enjoys taking pictures still :)

I'm trying to keep up my streak of getting pictures of the kids each summer in the colorful chairs by the fence. It's always interesting to see what we'll get.

I have definitely learned to appreciate any pictures I get, funny faces and all. 

It's who they are.

 

Also, we've been working HARD on rolling over. 

FINALLY Cora is rolling over on her own and moving from sitting to tummy and back.
