Fall Festivities

September was a slow month, but we're making up for that in October.

I LOVE October and we have been out enjoying our beautiful weather.

Here was my first fall decor to go up.
Thank you internet inspiration from which I copied from :)

We made another trip to try and get some good Christmas card pictures.
Little dude was not into smiling at all this day.
So all these may just be good practice for Mama to learn how to use the camera and lens better.

We made it out of the house again for a trip to the Pumpkin Patch!!!!
Again, showing us his skills at letting his mouth hang open.
(He saves the endless smiles for when he's tucked safely at home and there isn't so much NEW around to see and explore and take in!
And most importantly, no camera around to capture the endless giggles and smiles.)

 Fun bonding with Jessica!

Where are we and what are all of these orange balls out here??

I weigh HOW much???

September Photo journal

September was busy. Thus, I've been quiet on the blog.
We weren't up to anything in particular, just doing life.

Below are a few favorites

Mom practicing with a lens she doesn't use that often.
It may be staying on the camera a whole lot more.... it's fun!

Jack was happy Papa and Grammy were coming home from Hawaii the next day!
He wore his turtle outfit in their honor.

Below are a few of the MANY pictures I took trying to get our 8 month picture (2 days late!...oops)

Sneak preview of Jack's Halloween costume.
Mama was getting all inspired by pinterest, and the turtles from Hawaii, and she loves turtles, and since Jack isn't old enough to speak his mind, well to use WORDS to speak his mind, Mama was perfectly happy to decide his costume for him.
Can't wait to have it all come together:)

Thank heaven for doggies. They entertained each other so Mama could make some dinner

Wish I had a video. Jack loves the mirror.
He loves to head butt the mirror.
Every time we sit here to play, he leans forward and hits his head against the mirror, hangs out there for a bit looking at himself, then leans back again.

I might be a little obsessed with how cute he is when he sleeps.
I stalk him.

This particular morning we had to wake him up when he wasn't ready so Mama and Daddy could get him ready before for work!
As soon as we finished feeding him he wanted back to bed!
He covered up his head so we'd leave him alone, but he left his cute little pumpkin toes peaking out.

Um, mom, are you done taking pictures now?

I've got to go chew on my hat.

These last two are some outtakes from my attempt at some Christmas photos.
