Happy Halloween 2017

Here is our Halloween round up of all we've been up to this month. It's been packed full of fun!

A trip to Sauvie's Island for our first pumpkin patch

Jack really liked this "funny hair-do chicken"

Around the house...
Jack is helping daddy fix the toilet

Cora is helping Mama make dinner

Spontaneous bonfire and Grammy and Papa's house

"da"
(translates to, "hey look, a plane!")

Blurry picture of Jack (impossible to get him in focus these days)

Cute as a button Cora

Pumpkin Patch #2 at Lakeview Farms
 Fun in the corn maze
The whole crew! 3rd year running I think!

If this isn't a picture of a first date, I don't know what it is!
So stinking cute
I wonder what Jack is saying to her?

The boys like to hang out together

Apple farm!
But there were also pumpkins there... so pumpkin patch #3 then?

Pumpkin carving where the pictures are for memories, but mama did all the work :)

Tasting some pumpkin

Happy Halloween!
Love Penguin and Chicken

 Trick or Treat GG Faye!

Here I finally got a picture of Jack's costume with the feet!

Blurry family picture, but proof we were all there!

Happy Halloween you two.

It's been a while...

We've been busy having fun this summer so here is a photo dump to catch up!

Manzanita 2017!!
Grabbed him JUST long enough to snap this one, then he got away

 Running around having a BLAST

"Just take it, it's not going to be good"

Drinks with GG Faye

 Miss Cora's scrunchy face

Checking out the beach and digging her toes in the sand

 Tasting a sand dollar

ECLIPSE 2017
There is something not quite right about how Jack is watching the eclipse in this one...

Everything about this experience was just so cool. The shadows, the muted lighting, seeing the stars at 10 in the morning.

Black Butte
This year was a tough one. Fires were burning really close and it made it hard to get outside with ash falling on us. We tried to make the most of it, but it was kind of a bust of a vacation. Here's hoping it's better next year! But we tried to squeeze out as much fun as we could.
If there is a way to get dirty, he will find it!

Out on a bike ride/ hunt for golf balls

Jumping on rocks at Paulina Springs

 My little water baby.

She just loves her cuddles this girl

Jack is NOT as much as a water kid as Cora. He prefers climbing all over daddy and having snacks instead.

Yet, he still manages to have so much fun that at nap time he's "not tired" and wants to read to whale. Then we find him like this 5 min later.

Did I mention she is a water baby?

The cloud of smoke we were stuck under all of vacation. This was about 30 miles down the road where we saw a bit of a clearing

September
Jack's bed is a popular place to play. If you come over at the right time, Jack just might be serving up some "Burgerbills" from the "window" Cora is standing in.

Didn't I JUST make that bed?

Fun in the garage with Daddy! Gotta work around that lump on the ground named Bailey who doesn't like to move.

 Drilling holes with Daddy

Do you see Jack's excitement about the parade? It took until about the end for him to warm up to it.

Don't all the kids like to play in the sprinkler on a 60 degree cloudy day?
If they're happy, go for it!!!

 My guys.
Bedtime can get a little rowdy sometimes.

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit! Jack helped decorate Grandma's cake!

And after all that fun, once again, we're all ready for a nap.
She sleeps like I did at her age :)

We'll see you soon with a Halloween round up!
This year we'll be featuring a penguin and a chicken
