VACATION!

Black Butte 2018 is a wrap!
We had SO MUCH fun.
We are SO tired.
We miss it already!

We got all three kids piled in the back and we're ready to go!

Stopped for a little stroll by the lodge.

Hunting for lost golf balls is a favorite with the grandkids.

I just can't resist trying to get a cute shot in that sunset light.

Jack was excited to find a "100" number on the golf course :)

We found a deer too!

We had LOTS of pool time splashing around and staying cool.

Not sure what I'm going to do with this little mermaid.
She LOVES the water, but the SUNshine does not love her little fair red headed skin.

Jack is getting more and more brave every day in the water.

Cora's 2nd Birthday

Cora celebrated her 2nd birthday with an Under the Sea party!

Happy Birthday sweet baby girl.
You love to sing and dance. You have a goofy personality. You KNOW what you want.
You are the PERFECT little lady to keep us laughing and on our toes.
(Thanks Grammy for sharing so many birthday pictures with us!)

Sadly, brother had a low grade temp all day. Then RIGHT as the guests arrived, he threw up all over the kitchen. He spent the entire party sleeping.

But he woke up before the cousins left and perked up to play for a little bit. Only kids can throw up, take  a nap, and be ready to play again.

Then on Cora's actual birthday DAY I made another cake because the other stuff was gone and you HAVE to have a cake to blow out candles on your birthday!
This year, she tried to eat the flame to blow it out and ended up with a blister on her lip. Last year she pinched the flame out and ended up with a blister on her finger.
Maybe next year we'll figure it out and not get burned :)

We spent the day of her birthday going to dr appts, but I made it up to her and we had HOURS of playing at GG Fayes in the pool having SO MUCH FUN!

Bye Bye friends!

Fourth of July!

It's been a while! We've been busy with projects and having fun in the sun. Here's a quick round up of some of the fun :)

It wouldn't be the 4th if we weren't hanging out at GG Fayes swimming in the pool! (This year it even sprinkled on us lol)

The evolution of TRYING to get a cute pic.
We got a cute version of REALITY instead.

Came home for a mini firework show

This is how you end up when she needs a hug AND to have her ears covered to brave the fireworks.

The boys were in charge of lighting the fireworks

Cuddling while we watch all the not so legal fireworks going off near by. Makes for a fun free show for us. The kids stayed up WAY TO LATE but had SO MUCH FUN.

And a few extras...

Here we have our "No Clothes Monster"!!!

As much as we have HARD times screaming and not sharing, we also have these lovely moments when they love each other. They are the BEST moments.

The No Clothes Monster and his side kick eating cucumbers from the garden.

Mama's Garden project 2018
It's complete for this year. Now I gotta keep it alive through the winter and learn how to care for everything through the cold weather. Final touches might be added next year. But the kids LOVE running through all the new things out there.

Hope you had a great 4th (a long time ago) too!
