Granny's Birthday

Jack is a traveling man. Today he made a road trip to meet his Great Grand Parents!
It was Granny's birthday, so Jack wanted to make sure to be there to celebrate and eat cake :)

It was such a fun trip getting to meet so many aunties and uncles and cousins from Steve's side of the family. He had so many smiles and loves to pass around. I'm pretty sure he made it into everyone's arms for loves and cuddles. He waited so long to meet everyone he was soaking up all the family and attention!

Jack gets his first piece of candy out of Poopa's stash.

The boys chatting it up. Such a handsome bunch.

Jack with the birthday girl! Granny turned 90 years young!

A little one on one time with Poopa

More fun with the birthday girl

Jack even got a present from Reann. He LoVeS it :)
Thanks so much Reann!!!

Jack getting loves from all the ladies.

I adore Great Grandparents. What a treasure and blessing they are.
Jack is so blessed to have 3!

These next two shots I just HAD to post together. They are of Jack holding hands with both of his Great Grandmas.
The top picture is of Jack holding GG Faye's hand...

Happy 4th of July!

HAPPY 4th of JULY!!!

Jack was making it clear how he feels about tummy time. He's getting better though :)

Showing our independence day cheer

The boys hanging out

Jack keeping an eye on the kiddlets in the pool

My smiling boy.

Cooling off a bit at home after all the festivities earlier in the day

one tired boy. slept right through the LOUD fireworks next door.

The cousins waving their flags

(and a bonus extra)
The kid is funny. He loves blankets on his face to sleep. This was nap time at GG Fayes trying to stay cool during our hot hot summer days.

Jack's adventures

Well, I was dreading June 18th. The day I went back to work.
I've been back for 2 weeks now and I'm surprised we've adjusted so well.
Jack is doing great during the day and I'm coping well for the most of the day. It's somewhat nice being back as a productive member of society, but I'd love to work only a 5 hour day ;)

As a result of being back to work, I've been taking fewer pictures.
Enjoy the ones below!

Jack turned 4months June 3!

He enjoyed our new seating area out back.

Jack made Hannah unsure about holding him.

Brayden is being a little more brave despite Jack's screams.

All the cousins squirming and kicking like Jack.

Jack had a visit with his friend Dorothy! They had a grand ol' time smiling at each other.

My first loaf of fancy bread.

Still a smiley guy! We even get some giggles now on occasion!

The kids napping on the floor.

I'm making "real" dinners again. Fish and grilled vege panzanella.

He found his thumb. Sometimes his fist, and sometimes both hands.

GG Faye came over to help me with some room design.
She and Jack had a good chat while she was here.

Can't wait to share the fun of the 4th with you soon!

We're Going to the Zoo

In an effort to fit in something fun during my last few days of maternity leave (I'm still in denial about it), we went to the ZOO!
It was discount Tuesday, which made it even MORE fun because it was SO much cheaper than a normal day.

Thanks for driving up sister and cousins, and joining in on the fun!
Thanks for helping Grammy!

Jack is SO excited for his first zoo adventure

Searching for polar bears

More searching

Grammy and the boys

On the way to the elephants

Hannah seems pleased by getting to see the elephants.
It was the animal she most wanted to see :)

Jack is not so sure what to think of all these animal creatures

See-sters and the kiddlets

Searching for monkeys I believe

Our little animals playing with the animals

ok, now...
The real animals.

It was a good animal day
Lots of them were out to play
We had lots of fun on our trip to the zoo
I hope you enjoy the pictures too!
(sorry for the spontaneous poem, it just happened and I couldn't help myself)
