Halloween 2018

Our Halloween Penguins!

Carving pumpkins. Jack wanted a bat pumpkin and Cora got a happy pumpkin!

Jack got to wear his costume and gave a mini performance at preschool on Halloween.
He smiled and participated for the first 5 seconds, realized people were watching and stopped smiling and singing, didn't say his line and then perked up again at the very end when the song called for rolling around on the floor being silly.

He's pointing out his scarecrow he made

It was a family of penguins!

Jack was a trooper and loved trick or treating. Cora didn't like having to interact with people at the door but loved walking around with everyone between houses!

wow, it's been a while...

Since it's been so long, I'm just doing a photo dump to catch y'all up on our crazy lives.

We spent lots of time playing outside and in the sprinklers.

We went to the fair and had a BLAST

Jack started pre-school (and he LOVES IT) He was SO ready to go.

 We did seed math

We have fun at the park before Jack's swim class, and have fun at the pool during class lol

We took a family trip to Shady Dell trains and rode trains around the park and had a fun Sunday family picnic for lunch

 We visited GG Faye...
We watched planes fly by outside...
Cora switched to a toddler bed (and decided she no longer needed to nap)

And we grew sunflowers which was some of the most fun we had. It was fun to watch them grow first taller than, Cora. Then Jack, and then Mommy and Daddy.
They were SO BIG! Then they bent down to say hello to us and show us their seeds.

We cut off some of the heads so we could pluck seeds from them (still need to roast those)
and had so much fun watching the squirrels and birds eat the seeds from the rest of them.

Mama declared it was finally time to dig into that kitchen remodel we've talked about for YEARS. Trying to go from the picture above to our concept below.

In the mean time, Mama decided to re-paint the rest of the interior of the house a new color while Daddy continues to work on our new built ins in the living room.
Who doesn't like to rip their whole house apart in stages?

It's pumpkin patch season again and we've had so much fun. So far we've hit plumper pumpkins, Grammy and Papa's patch and Sauvies Island.
We keep adding babies each year in our co-worker trip to the patch!

Had to say hello to "hair-do chicken" out at Kruger farms again this year. Been talking about him all year.

Still enjoying being silly and playing outside with no clothes on...

... and especially being silly lol

I'll try to be better about keeping up on this around here. Thanks for checking back in on us!

VACATION!

Black Butte 2018 is a wrap!
We had SO MUCH fun.
We are SO tired.
We miss it already!

We got all three kids piled in the back and we're ready to go!

Stopped for a little stroll by the lodge.

Hunting for lost golf balls is a favorite with the grandkids.

I just can't resist trying to get a cute shot in that sunset light.

Jack was excited to find a "100" number on the golf course :)

We found a deer too!

We had LOTS of pool time splashing around and staying cool.

Not sure what I'm going to do with this little mermaid.
She LOVES the water, but the SUNshine does not love her little fair red headed skin.

Jack is getting more and more brave every day in the water.
