NICU Update

My friends. Bowl full of bottles for pumping.

The NICU nurse put this little shirt on him from something they had on hand. His first outfit.

Our corner of the world, until we got moved.

This is how you do dinner NICU style.
Mom holds baby, Dad holds dinner so nourishment can make its way in via gravity.

More dinner time

Our new corner of the world

How Jack spends most of his days. Wrapped up like a burrito. Pacifier close by.
The doll on his head is called a "lovey doll."
Steve and I place it in the neck of our shirt so it will have our smell on it for Jack when we can't be there.

The roads on a good day as we made the trek to visit Jack.
We made it for our twice a day visits each day except for one night when the ice hit.

Daddy snuggles.
He looks so little in Steve's arms!

My guys

Stretching out for a diaper change

Jack and his lovey doll

Sacked out on Mom during snuggle time.

He took a bottle today and did well!
A good sign he is starting to figure out that whole suck, swallow, breathe thing :)

Now, time for sleep!!!
Hope you enjoy the updates!
